The
Back Label:
Zort?!? Yes! A Ruby Angelica
wine based on our Zinfandel grapes. This very limited production is meant to be
consumed with friends — and a raspberry-infused chocolate truffle — or a pear
with Stilton cheese — as an aperitif with salted nuts — or in front of a fire
on a howling winter night while releasing its captive sunshine.
Its spicy and bramble fruit
and spicy aromatics evoke summer in the berry patch with your lover.
A
wine for bed?
More
information from the winegrower:
Zort?!?
We can’t legally call it
Port. Rule changes—no more American Port.
So it is a Ruby Angelica—the
American equivalent to a Ruby Port. Made mostly with
Zinfandel.
Inspired by a great day
being tutored by Brother Timothy at The Christian Brothers Winery learning
about blending port-style wines made mostly from Zinfandel. “Playing”
with 23 wines to make 3 final wine types.
So, in salute to Brother
Timothy!
